Kimberly Neal Named Secretary of the Board for the Baltimore Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel

Kimberly Neal

Kimberly Neal, general counsel for The Children’s Guild Alliance, was elected secretary of the board of directors for the Baltimore chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel. She became a board member in 2018.

Neal joined The Children’s Guild Alliance in 2016 after a career as a business litigator in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She was drawn to the mission of The Children’s Guild Alliance, a nonprofit organization serving children, families and child-serving organizations. The organization’s nonpublic schools, charter schools, therapeutic group homes, treatment foster care and other behavioral health services serve families in Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Among her accolades, Neal is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell. The Daily Record counted her among the newspaper’s Top 100 Women in 2015 and Leading Women in 2013.

Neal currently serves as a Stephen Minister and children’s choir director for Catonsville United Methodist Church. Her board service includes the Better Business Bureau Greater Maryland Foundation board, the Maryland affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Downtown Baltimore Child Care Inc.

Neal earned her law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law and she has remained active with its alumni association. She graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University with bachelor’s degrees in English and political science.

The Children’s Guild Alliance is a nonprofit organization serving children, families and child-serving organizations and is dedicated to transforming how America educates and cares for its children through education, behavioral health and national training and consultation services.
