Freeborn & Peters LLP is pleased to announce the continued growth of its Tampa office and the firm’s complex business litigation, professional liability defense and insurance brokerage practices with the addition of attorneys Hoyt L. Prindle III and Taylor R. Ryan.

Mr. Prindle focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and insurance coverage litigation. In the area of professional liability defense, he concentrates on the defense of professional malpractice claims brought against insurance agents and attorneys.

Prior to joining Freeborn, Mr. Prindle practiced with another firm. Before his law career, he served as an assistant vice president at one of the country’s largest certified development companies administering SBA 504 loans, where he handled lending and government affairs.

Mr. Prindle interned for Michael G. Williamson, Chief Judge of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, and worked for the Veterans Law Institute at the Stetson University College of Law, from which he received his J.D. (cum laude). Mr. Prindle also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tampa and a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University.

Also a member of Freeborn’s Litigation Practice Group, Mr. Ryan focuses his practice on insurance coverage litigation.

Prior to joining Freeborn, Mr. Ryan served as a law clerk to Judge Michael P. Allen of the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims in Washington, D.C. He also served as a judicial intern at the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Mr. Ryan received his J.D. (cum laude) from Stetson University College of Law and his Bachelor of Science (magna cum laude) from Niagara University.

Located in the Tampa City Center, Freeborn’s Tampa office serves clients involved in litigation, particularly in professional liability, third-party insurance coverage, qui tam, healthcare fraud and restrictive covenant disputes.
