J.H. Whitney Capital-backed Aveanna to Acquire Maxim’s Home Healthcare Unit

Aveanna Healthcare, a leading home healthcare company, today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the home healthcare division of Maxim Healthcare Services. Maxim’s staffing services and population health and wellness divisions are not part of the agreement. The transaction, which is subject to the receipt of regulatory clearances and other customary closing conditions, is expected to close in the second quarter of 2019. Financial terms were not disclosed.
