Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, a leading civil defense litigation law firm, has added Hillary L. Albertson and Sean J. Reeves as associates in the firm’s Jacksonville office.

Ms. Albertson joins the firm’s Professional Liability Department, focusing her practice on construction defect litigation and general professional liability defense. She provides counsel to sub-contractors, general contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, architects and engineers in claims brought against them in a variety of construction projects and disputes.

Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Ms. Albertson was an attorney with a civil litigation defense firm where she represented clients in matters related to negligent security and premises liability. She is a member of the American Bar Association, The Florida Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, and the Jacksonville Bar Association. Outside the office, she volunteers her time to Habitat for Humanity.

Ms. Albertson earned her bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from the University of Florida and her juris doctor from Stetson University College of Law. While in law school she was the recipient of the Victor O. Wehle Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. She is admitted to practice in the state of Florida and the United States District Court Middle District of Florida.

Mr. Reeves joins the firm’s Casualty Department. He has experience litigating a wide range of general liability matters and has represented insureds, self insureds, and corporations in cases involving motor vehicle negligence, products liability, personal injury, premises liability and warranty defense.

Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, he was an associate with a firm in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. While in this role, he defended manufacturers of boats, automobiles and recreational vehicles in warranty disputes, and defended insurance companies and insureds in bodily injury and property claims. Additionally, he defended individuals in complex commercial litigation matters. His diverse background also includes aviation law, having worked for several years in the United States Army where he served as a helicopter pilot.

Mr. Reeves earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of West Florida and his Masters in Business Administration from Saint Leo University. He went on to receive his juris doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He is admitted to practice in the state of Florida as well as the United States District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.
