Trinity Hunt Partners, a Dallas-based private equity firm, has today announced the expansion of its team by three members: Ryan Horstman, joining as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer; Satchel Park as Research Director; and John Martin as an Associate.

As the firm’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, Ryan Horstman’s responsibilities encompass a broad scope of fund and firm operating initiatives, including compliance, assisting with fund accounting, tax, treasury and valuations, as well as supporting fundraising and investor relations activities. Horstman joins the Trinity Hunt team after five years as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Kildare Partners, a private equity fund with more than $3 billion of assets under management, and eight years at TPG, a leading global private investment firm with more than $80 billion of assets under management, where he served as Senior Director of Accounting and Finance. Horstman received a B.B.A degree in accounting from Texas Christian University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

As Research Director, Satchel Park will lead the firm’s industry theme research and idea generation. He joins the Trinity Hunt team after four years at Westwood Holdings Group, a Dallas-based asset management firm, where he selected stocks within the Consumer Staples, Real Estate and Auto sectors. Park holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern Methodist University with a B.B.A. in Finance.

As an Associate, John Martin will support deal execution as well as portfolio company growth initiatives, including portfolio management of America’s Auto Auction, IMS Expert Services, Lone Star Fasteners, Mid America Pet Food and Miller Environmental. Before joining Trinity Hunt, Martin worked for Piper Jaffray & Co. in the Diversified Industrials & Services Group, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions across sectors including business services, specialty manufacturing and building products. He received his B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration from Washington and Lee University.
