Catalyst Investors Promotes Kapil Desai to VP

Growth equity firm Catalyst Investors announced the promotion of Kapil Desai to Vice President from Senior Associate. Desai focuses on healthcare IT, food technology and software companies and most recently worked on Catalyst’s investments in BrightFarms, Clinicient, ChowNow and Conductor.

“Kapil has demonstrated sound investment judgment, creativity and initiative and his promotion is well-deserved,” said Brian Rich, Managing Partner of Catalyst. “He has been instrumental in a number of new transactions and is a key contributor at Catalyst. Prior to joining Catalyst in 2014, Desai served as an investment banking analyst with the Global Technology Group at Credit Suisse in San Francisco, where he provided M&A, capital raising and advisory services. He graduated from Georgetown University, cum laude, with a B.S. in Business Administration.
