Duff & Phelps, the premier global valuation and corporate finance advisor, today announced that the firm has added three new managing directors to its Corporate Finance practice who, collectively and individually, add expertise, depth and geographic diversity.
Danielle Montesano has joined in the Corporate Finance and ESOP/ERISA Advisory Services practice and is based in the Chicago office. She brings more than 20 years of experience working with corporate acquisition and sale transactions involving restructuring, valuing and financing public and private securities. She has expertise in matters involving corporate governance, valuation, ERISA, tax, compliance, executive compensation and employer securities. Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Ms. Montesano was the head of the Fiduciary Advisory Group at First Bankers Trust Services.
Alexandre Pierantoni has joined in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and will focus on growing the firm’s M&A practice in South America. Mr. Pierantoni brings a strong M&A background in both origination and execution of buy and sell-side mandates for financial and strategic investors, as well as economic valuations, with industry expertise in the consumer, industrial, healthcare and education sectors. Most recently, he served as a Partner with Pactor Finanças Corporativas, a boutique M&A firm and – earlier in his career – was a Brazil M&A Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Kurt Steltenpohl has joined in the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) practice and is based in the New York office. He is an experienced consultant to industry executives, corporations and private equity on strategy and operations. Mr. Steltenpohl specializes in performance improvement and merger integration in the consumer, industrial, and healthcare sectors and leads TAS’ Operations Advisory vertical, providing the firm’s clients with pre- and post- transaction services. He joins Duff & Phelps from Alvarez & Marsal, where he served as a Strategy and Transactions Advisor in that firm’s Private Equity Services Group.
