TAG Corporate Development Announces New 2018 Board Leadership & Members

The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Corporate Development society is pleased to announce the appointment of new leadership and members to their 2018 Board of Directors.

  • Marc Borrelli, Chair

A senior corporate development executive who has closed more than 100 transactions worth over $3 Billion. Borelli served as VP of International Mergers & Acquisitions, Joint Ventures, Corporate Development at Equifax, Inc. (NYSE: EFX), and Director of Joint Ventures, Business Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions at Holiday Inn Worldwide (NYSE: IHG). Marc has been an active TAG member, serving on the Boards of the Corporate Development and International Business societies, and moderated a panel on International M&A.

  • Georgi Gullia, Vice-Chair

A business development and investment banking professional or advisory services firms in the Southeast. Gullia is Director of Business Development for Cherry Bekaert, LLP. Earlier companies include M&A advisory firm VRA Partners, Morgan Stanley, Focus Investment Bank, KPMG Corporate Finance group (closed a $75 Million private equity raise) and Robinson Humphrey. Georgi’s professional involvement includes the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and Venture Atlanta.

2017 Highlights

The Corporate Development society had another record year with 8, high quality programs that were very well attended; several sold-out. Guest speakers included C-level executives from prominent Venture Capital and Private Equity firms; high-growth Technology startups,  Fortune 500 companies and elected officials from the State of Georgia.

TAG also recognized the significant contributions of the societies’ longest serving leaders – Steve Hassett, Chair and Mickki Murray, Vice-Chair. Over the past 3 years, they have overseen 25 events that were attended by 2,000 professionals. Steve Hassett, COO of GT Software, will continue on the Corporate Development society board and has also joined TAG’s Board of Directors.
