Carroccio Named Lead of Cushman & Wakefield’s DC Metro Region

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Peter Carroccio has been named Managing Principal for the firm’s Washington, DC, regional operations. Former DC Managing Principal Roberta Levy Liss will continue her Regional Managing Principal, Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Region role and strategic leadership of these markets.

Carroccio joined Cushman & Wakefield from CBRE last summer to lead the firm’s brokerage team in the DC region. As Managing Principal, he will continue in his role as brokerage leader and provide strategic guidance to Cushman & Wakefield’s market-leading Asset Services, Occupier Services, Valuation & Advisory, and Project Development Services teams in Washington DC, and the Virginia and Maryland suburbs. Additionally, he will play a critical role in continuing to recruit top talent to Cushman & Wakefield in the DC region.

Carroccio’s commercial real estate career spans nearly 30 years in the DC region. Additionally, he is deeply committed to his community and is driven to helping others inside and outside of the commercial real estate industry.He is a former Board Member of The Washington Jesuit Academy and Superleaders of Washington, DC; and is currently an active Board Member of the Commercial Real Estate Brokers Association. He has been actively involved with numerous organizations that promote education, financial support, health and safety for less fortunate families of the Washington Metropolitan Area. Carroccio is a graduate of The Catholic University of America

In addition to prior market-leadership roles with BECO Management, CBRE and Trammell Crow, Liss also has served on the boards of NAIOP Maryland/DC and the Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Association of Greater Washington, DC. In 2014 Jewish Women International named her to the Top 10 Women to Watch; she also received the Outstanding Engineering Award, from Penn State in 2013; and the Washington Business Journal’s 2015 Women Who Mean Business Award. She is an active member of CREW and former Chair of the Sponsorship Committee. Liss is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where she serves on the Professional Advisory Council of the Department of Architectural Engineering and the College of Engineering Advancement Committee.
