All About Beer LLC has raised $125,000 by selling equity and options, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company plans to raise $875,000 more.

The Durham, North Carolina-based magazine publication sold the securities on March 2 and intends to raise a total of $1 million.

An estimated $25,000 of the proceeds will be used for executive payments.

All About Beer Magazine is a publication under All About Beer LLC, led by president Christopher Rice.

In 2014, Daniel Bradford, president of Chautauqua Inc., sold All About Beer Magazineto Rice after maintaining ownership for 22 years.

The magazine currently produces six editions each year and presents World Beer Festivals and special events across the United States.

The company is headquartered in Durham and maintains editorial offices in New York and San Francisco.
