New York City-based Amino Apps, a mobile-only platform for niche communities, has raised $19.2 million in funding, according to an announcement by CEO Ben Anderson. GV led the round with participation from other investors that included Venrock, Union Square Ventures, Box Group, Time Warner Investments and Goodwater Capital.
