Isis Venture Partners, a private equity firm that invests primarily in small to medium-sized enterprises in the media and business services sectors, announced today the appointment of Jonathan Moore as President of Family Media LLC. Mr. Moore has also been named a Director of Manhattan Media, an Isis Venture Partners-owned business. Long-time Family Media Publisher John Hurleywill report to Moore.
Family Media provides insights and information to parents, from expectant parents to parents of pre-teens. It publishes New York Family Magazine, NewYorkFamily.com and hosts The Baby Show series, the Blackboard Awards, Camp Fairs and Independent School Fairs.
As a 20-year veteran of the industry, Mr. Moore has held leadership positions in a variety of media companies, most recently heading one of the largest mining conference companies in the world for Euromoney. He also ran the events and education business at the Interactive Advertising Bureau and, prior to that, the events and award programs for Thomson Financial Media/Source Media.

Manhattan Media recently announced a formal partnership with the Juvenile Product Manufacturers Association(JPMA) to accelerate the build out of the largest series of trade and consumer shows for new and expectant families in the United States.
