TAMPA, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Pilgrim Quality Solutions, a leading global provider of enterprise quality management software and services for the Life Sciences, today announced the appointment of Rick Lowenstein to Pilgrim’s Board of Managers.

Lowenstein currently serves as Senior Vice President of Avid Global Services, and is a Corporate Officer and member of Avid’s Executive Leadership Team. With Avid, Lowenstein manages all customer service functions, including customer support, professional services, and education for the company’s entire product suite to clients in all geographies, segments, and tiers. He also has responsibility for hardware production and supply and distribution of all Avid products. Avid is the world’s leading provider of audio and video technology for media and broadcast professionals.

During his 30-year career as a software and services executive, Lowenstein has successfully led and managed services and consulting practices of all sizes at industry and market-leading technology companies, including Adobe, Deltek, Agile Software, Peoplesoft, Sybase, and Accenture. His expertise and experience span a range of industries that includes Life Sciences, and he has extensive experience selling and servicing enterprise solutions in the cloud and on premise within all industry tier levels.
