Benefitting God’s Love We Deliver, Annual Bike Ride Has Raised Over $600,000, Provided More than 60,000 Meals to Date

On October 27th, Douglas Elliman Real Estate, the third-largest residential real estate brokerage company in the United States, will host the sixth annual Ride for Love to benefit God’s Love We Deliver, New York City’s leading provider of nutritious, individually-tailored meals for people who are too sick to shop or cook for themselves. Previously known as the Ride to REiNVENT, the annual ride has raised over $600,000 and provided more than 60,000 meals to date.

Cyclists of all abilities may choose either the 100-mile century ride or the 35-mile sprint, with both routes beginning in Highlands, New Jersey and ending in Atlantic City. Both courses will offer organized rest stops, and photographers and videographers will be documenting the ride. The brainchild of Max Dobens, Douglas Elliman’s senior regional executive manager of sales for Brooklyn, the event has previously attracted participants from California and London, in addition to local New Yorkers. Last year drew 50 cyclists and over 1,600 donors.

“I’m setting high goals for this year’s Ride for Love, as it marks the first year the event will be open to the public,” said Dobens. “With support from Elliman agents, friends, and family nationwide, all bets are on for breaking previous records. I am of course thrilled to be supporting the vital work of God’s Love We Deliver.”
