Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer announces that Amber Ox Kitchen & Brewery has finalized the lease for their newest project, Precarious Beer Hall, a beer hall comprised of approximately 9,700 square feet to be located in the former Seasons Restaurant within the Henry Street Shops at the corner of South Henry and Francis Streets in the Colonial Williamsburg Merchants Square district. This is the second downtown location for the duo behind the Amber Ox, with the existing Amber Ox Public House located at 521 Prince George Street, just blocks off the iconicDuke of Gloucester Street.
Amber Ox’s new projectis expected to feature a street-style taqueria reminiscent of a food truck within the design of the microbrewery tasting room, vintage arcade games, live music, as well as ample outdoor seating areas where patrons can enjoy their locally brewed craft beers. The owner’s vision is for a casual, social atmosphere with communal tables, sofas, and a large, elevated patio facing South Henry and Francis Streets. Their proposed late-night hours of operation will be the first for an establishment within the core of Merchants Square. A summer 2019 opening is projected.
