Colliers International Announces Industrial Complex Sale in Cuero, Texas

8/21/18

Colliers International is pleased to announce that OHS Resources Corporation, headquartered in Houston, Texas, recently acquired a 336,000 square foot industrial complex located in Cuero, Texas from MV Cuero Partners, LLC. The property was formerly the Mt Vernon Mills cotton weaving facility. OHS Resources plans to use the facility as its main Texas product distribution center. OHS Resources produces and sells proprietary oil and gas drilling products, including its primary product WellWall, a drilling fluid and loss circulation material (LCM). "This facility is an excellent central location for the distribution of our products to our other OHS Resources facilities in the Permian Basin and Eagle Ford, as well as other USA shale oil regions", said Robert Hughes, CEO of OHS Resources.

Jason Scholtz with Colliers International Houston represented the Seller, MV Cuero Partners, LLC, in the disposition. "We knew that this property would offer tremendous value to the right user. When we listed the property, we expected to receive interest from the oilfield, given the property's location in Dewitt County, but we received a myriad of interest from other users as well. The city of Cuero will also greatly benefit from this transaction now that the facility will be humming with activity again."

Patrick Kenney, Executive Director of the Cuero Development Corporation said, "The city of Cuero welcomes OHS Resources and we are extremely excited that they have chosen this community for their new manufacturing and distribution center."
