Kapnick closes deal for the athletic footwear and apparel brand’s 950-square-foot store in Soho location with a history of retail success
Mark Kapnick, Executive Vice President/Principal, at Lee & Associates NYC has arranged a 950-square-foot, two-year lease at 68 Prince Street, between Lafayette and Crosby Streets, for NOBULL,an athletic footwear, apparel and accessories brand designed for the serious athlete. The space also includes 510 square feet on the lower level. This will be the first store location for the company.
Inspired by the success of the Allbirds pop-up shop that has been at 68 Prince Street for the past year (for which Kapnick also arranged the lease), the NOBULL team is looking forward to being located in a neighborhood known for its cutting-edge retail opportunities.
“A brick-and-mortar debut at 68 Prince Street speaks volumes to the success that NOBULL has already enjoyed with their online business,” explains Mr. Kapnick, who represented the landlord, 68 Prince Street LLC. “In terms of foot traffic, this is one of the busiest blocks in Soho and NOBULL will see great sales there, if the success of Allbirds in the same location is any indication.”
68 Prince Street is conveniently located near the B, D, F, M, R, W and 6 trains. Surrounding retailers and restaurants include Equinox, Dean & DeLuca, T2 Tea, Soho Park and Supreme.
Paul Berkman of JLL represented NOBULL in the lease negotiation. Asking rent was $500 per square foot. NOBULL will take occupancy on September 4.
