CAI Awards Grants Supporting Summer Children’s Programs

ALLENTOWN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Computer Aid, Inc. (CAI) is pleased to announce the awarding of four grants to nonprofit organizations totaling $62,141 for the use in summer enrichments programs through CAI’s community relations initiative CAI Cares. The following organizations are receiving the awards: Boys and Girls Club of Western PA, Pittsburgh, PA; Boys and Girls Club of Easton, Easton, PA; Boys and Girls Club of Allentown, Allentown, PA; and Holy Infancy School, Bethlehem, PA. These organizations serve over four thousand students each year through their services and anticipate impacting over 1100 lives this summer through their clubs and camps.

CAI Cares has determined that these organizations qualify as education partners to join CAI with their core mission to be a positive force in their communities. To this end, it is important for CAI to use financial and human resources to impact their communities via charitable giving and volunteer work.

CAI Cares is providing these funds for a variety of uses including: Teacher Stipends, Resource Materials, Educational Trips and also Instructional Technology. These organizations anticipate utilizing the Istation Reading and or the DreamBox Learning Math Programs in their summer Clubs and Enrichment Programs to increase the students reading and math skills to combat summer learning loss.
