Full-service marketing firm MERGE Boston has been honored with a Gramercy Award for a content-based campaign it created in partnership with insurance company AIG and Washington Post Brand Studios. The companies were honored with other Gramercy Award winners at an April 11 breakfast in New York.

“Cybersecure Your World,” a paid Washington Post content program on various topics that AIG and MERGE Boston are collaborating on, won the award for “Best Strategy: Domestic & Single Country” in the Insurance category. The annual financial marketing strategy awards, which are now in their 15th year, are put on by the Gramercy Institute, a network for senior marketers from the world’s largest financial institutions.

“The objective was to position AIG as a global market leader,” said Andrew Pelosi, President of MERGE Boston, which was formerly known as Partners & Simons. “Focusing on the Cyber space allowed AIG to connect on a business and personal level through their unique perspective and expertise through educational content.”
