Mediterranean favorite at The Hub at Peachtree Center earns No. 3 spot
Aviva by Kameel, the Mediterranean fast casual restaurant located in The Hub at Peachtree Center, has been named the third best place to eat for 2018 by Yelp. The only Georgia-based restaurant to make the cut, this is Aviva by Kameel’s second appearance on the national list and its highest ranking yet.
Chef Kameel Srouji, owner and executive chef, is known for his boisterous personality and healthy, flavorful food inspired by his home country of Israel. Aviva by Kameel is a longtime favorite for Peachtree Center’s office workers and visitors.

The menu at Aviva by Kameel includes falafel, often heralded as some of the best in Atlanta, shawarma, baklava and an array of ever-changing, fresh Mediterranean side dishes. There is also a juice bar inside the restaurant that is open for breakfast. Srouji places a high focus on health and quality ingredients, using only olive oil to cook and offering vegan and vegetarian options alongside his famous lamb and wild-caught salmon dishes.

To compile the “Top 100 Places to Eat for 2018” list, Yelp’s data science team compared businesses from across the country, using a ranking that considered ratings and number of reviews, while also accounting for quality and popularity, to not only reveal what’s top rated, but also what’s most popular across the country. In 2016, Aviva by Kameel placed 26th on the prestigious list.
Customers can visit Aviva by Kameel in The Hub at Peachtree Center every weekday and on weekends during major conventions and Downtown Atlanta events. Peachtree Center office tenants can enjoy Kameel’s fare at their desk with free delivery through the Peachtree Plated program, a partnership with local delivery company Zifty that launched in late 2017.
The Hub at Peachtree Center is currently undergoing a massive renovation to modernize and open up the retail center where Aviva by Kameel is located. The project will better connect The Hub to Peachtree Street and bring new finishes to the food court, which was originally constructed over 40 years ago.
