InfluxData said it raised $35 million of Series C funding in a round led by Sapphire Ventures and joined by new investor Harmony Partners and existing investorsBattery Ventures, Mayfield Fund and Trinity Ventures.

The funding brings the total raised by the database management company to $60 million. As part of the deal, Sapphire Partner Anders Ranum will join the board.

The capital will be used to expand sales, marketing, R&D and international operations.
