The Association of Poinciana Villages (APV), Florida’s largest homeowners association, will recognize honorees and winners of its 2017 home beautification program at the Poinciana Beautiful Awards Gala on Saturday, January 27th from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Poinciana Community Center. During this annual event, APV will spotlight residents throughout the community whose homes have been well maintained and cared for during the past year.
“We are very proud of our community and how it has stepped up to say ‘We are Poinciana Beautiful,’” said Mark Maldonado, General Manager of APV. “Our goal is to have every member of the community take part in this program and be proud to show off their wonderful homes.”
In February 2017, APV launched this year’s home beautification program to encourage residents to take pride in their properties. When the program first launched in 2016, APV saw that residents started seeing the improvements their neighbors were making and, in the true spirit of competition, wanted to make their own home look equally as nice. These improvements also help to increase property values, increase sales and encourage developers and businesses to consider the community as a place to successfully invest.
At the event, one homeowner from each participating Village will be awarded the grand prize. There will also be a variety of other prizes for event attendees as well as appetizers and amazing entertainment. Carol Saragusa, an actress with Walt Disney World’s Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular and The American Idol Experience, will serve as emcee and contemporary jazz artists Nova Era will provide music to keep everyone dancing throughout the evening.
The Poinciana Beautiful Awards Gala is just one of the many major events APV hosts throughout the year for residents and community members. Other events include the Annual Christmas Parade and Celebration, the Independence Day Fireworks Spectacular, and the Annual Trunk or Treat and Family Harvest Party.
