Elite Airways is launching nonstop service between Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport and Myrtle Beach, beginning April 6.
The new service comes as part of a major expansion by Elite at the South Carolina resort city — and with a hint of still more service at Newport News.
Elite plans twice-weekly service, on Fridays and Mondays. The new service will start with fares set at $129 each way.
“Newport News is a great airport,” said John Pearsall, president of the airline.
