ABC TV (DIS -0.3%) and Sinclair Broadcast Group (SBGI +6.7%), the nation's biggest owner of local stations, have set a multi-year deal extending affiliations across all Sinclair stations to August 2022.

That includes affiliation deals that had been set to expire by the end of 2017, as well as ABC affiliates where Sinclair provides services under a joint sales agreement.

And the two have agreed to include affiliation deals with Tribune Media (NYSE:TRCO) contingent on the closing of Sinclair's acquisition of Tribune.
