Simmons Hanly Conroy Elevates Ellyn Hurd to Shareholder

Simmons Hanly Conroy, one of the nation's largest mass torts firms, is pleased to announce it has elevated Ellyn Hurd, an attorney based in the firm's New York office, to shareholder. Hurd is among 10 attorneys across all of the firm's offices to be elevated this year to shareholder, effective Jan. 1.

Hurd concentrates her practice on litigating sexual abuse cases both nationally and internationally, multidistrict pharmaceutical cases and a variety of financial loss class actions. Previously, she was an associate at a law firm in New Bedford, Mass., where she focused on real property litigation and municipal matters. Hurd received her J.D. from Boston College Law School and her Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College.
