New York Corporate Compliance and Defense attorney Doris D. Short has been named Partner; Construction attorney Matthew S.C. Moore has been named Co-Managing Partner of the firm's Houston office; and in our Real Estate practice, New Jersey attorney David Polazzi has been named Senior Counsel. The following Construction lawyers have been promoted to Senior Associate: Angela A.L. Connor (Houston), Patrick Murray (New Jersey) and Melissa Salsano (New York), along with Employment attorney Joseph Vento (New Jersey).

Doris holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
Houston-based Construction and Surety Partner Matt Moore has demonstrated the leadership, capability and dedication that reflect the firm’s core values, making him the ideal candidate to assume new responsibilities with the expansion of his role to Co-Managing Partner with a focus on the growth and performance of the Houston office. Matt holds a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law.
Experienced Real Estate and Corporate attorney David Polazzi of the firm's New Jersey office has been promoted to Senior Counsel. David counsels clients in the acquisition and sale of real property, leasing, landlord-tenant disputes, and mortgage and corporate finance. He holds a J.D. magna cum laude from New England School of Law.
Houston-based attorney Angela Connor has been promoted to Senior Associate. Angela focuses her practice on construction litigation, dispute resolution and contract negotiation. She is known for her sound and practical legal advice, routinely finding creative solutions to meet her clients’ business needs. Angela holds a J.D. cum laude from South Texas College of Law.
New Jersey attorney Patrick Murray has been promoted to Senior Associate. He represents construction managers, general contractors, manufacturers, owners, developers and subcontractors in matters related to construction contracts and disputes. Patrick also provides strategic counsel to clients on commercial litigation matters, assisting in claims related to business contract disputes, consumer fraud and bankruptcy. He holds a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law.
Melissa Salsano of the firm's New York office has been promoted to Senior Associate. Her primary areas of practice are construction law and complex commercial litigation. Melissa provides legal counsel to a range of clients in the construction industry and advises on an impressive array of projects constructed in New York City and throughout the United States. She holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law.
New Jersey attorney Joseph Vento of the firm’s Employment Practices Group and Commercial Litigation Practice has been promoted to Senior Associate. He defends Employment Practices Liability Insurance and Directors & Officers claims on behalf of employers. He holds a J.D. from Pace University School of Law.
