Winston & Strawn LLP announced the addition of Uri Doron and Jared Manes, two corporate partners in New York. Uri and Jared join from Jenner & Block and focus their practices on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, with a particular focus on Nordic-based companies doing business in the United States.
With experience across a variety of industries, including manufacturing, life sciences, healthcare, food and beverage, technology, consumer goods, and financial services, Uri and Jared concentrate on representing large multinational companies and private equity funds in U.S aspects of M&A, private equity investments, and joint ventures, as well as U.S. companies in transactions throughout Europe and around the world.

Uri’s work centers on cross-border M&A transactions for U.S. clients as well as for international companies, many of which are based in the Nordics and Israel. His experience extends to corporate governance and other general corporate matters, working with businesses at all stages of the corporate life cycle. Uri graduatedsumma cum laudewith a bachelor of laws degree from Tel Aviv University, and went on to clerk for two justices on the Israeli Supreme Court before earning his master of laws from New York University Law School.
Jared represents private and public companies, many of which are also based in the Nordics, in a wide range of corporate matters, including domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures, equity investments, securities offerings, capital markets transactions and general corporate law. Prior to his law firm experience, Jared worked in the Office of Institutional Integrity at the Inter-American Development Bank. Fluent in Spanish and proficient in Brazilian Portuguese, Jared has lived and traveled extensively throughout Latin America. Jared received his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law and his master of laws with highest honors from The George Washington University School of Law.
