Bradley Elevates Four Charlotte Attorneys to Partner

Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP is pleased to announce the elevation of four attorneys in the firm’s Charlotte office to partner, effective Jan. 1. The new partners are Monica Wilson Dozier,Erin Jane Illman,Sarah J. Jacobs and Brian M. Rowlson.

Ms. Dozier is a member of Bradley’s Construction and Government Contracts Practice Group. She represents contractors, subcontractors, developers, and engineers in utility-scale renewable energy projects, focusing on risk mitigation and dispute avoidance throughout the development, construction, operation and maintenance phases of projects. Ms. Dozier serves as co-chair of the Excellence in Construction Committee with Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas. She received her J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and her Bachelor of Science (summa cum laude) from the University of Florida.

Ms. Illman is co-chair of Bradley’s Privacy, Security and Innovation team, which is part of the Banking and Financial Services Practice Group. She is an ANSI Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) with more than a decade of experience representing corporate entities, technology companies and financial institution clients in a wide variety of regulatory compliance, litigation and contract matters. Combining her technology, financial and corporate entity experience, she focuses her practice on helping companies navigate a variety of privacy and information security compliance issues. She received her J.D. from the University of Alabama School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Ms. Jacobs is a member of Bradley’s Healthcare Practice Group. She focuses her practice on assisting clients in the healthcare industry in a wide range of regulatory, operational and transactional matters. In addition to representing healthcare providers in mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, she has extensive experience in advising clients on a wide variety of regulatory and operational matters, including compliance with federal and state self-referral and anti-kickback laws and licensure issues. Previously, she served as deputy general counsel to a nationally affiliated non-profit health system, as well as operations counsel to a national hospital company. She received her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and her Bachelor of Science (cum laude) from Vanderbilt University.

Mr. Rowlson is a member of Bradley’s Construction and Government Contracts Practice Group. He represents general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals and suppliers in Florida and North Carolina in a wide range of issues arising from highway construction (including design build and public private partnerships), commercial and residential vertical projects, and wastewater equipment and facilities. He received his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law, his Master of Business Administration from the University of South Florida and his Bachelor of Science from Florida State University.
