MWWPR Promotes Karen Clyne To EVP, GM Of The Western Region

MWWPR today announced that Karen Clyne has been promoted to Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Western Region, just over a year after joining the firm's leadership team.

In her new role, Clyne will oversee operations for the San Francisco and Los Angeles offices and continue to lead the growth of MWWPR's technology practice. She will be responsible for managing enterprise and consumer technology clients as well as helming the business development process for all technology prospects.

Since joining the agency, Clyne has focused on broadening the integration of technology capabilities within MWWPR practice areas such as corporate reputation, consumer and public affairs. One year ago, Clyne joined with a roster of six new clients and the acceleration has continued, including more than a dozen new client wins.

"Karen's strategic approach has had impact across the entire agency. Since she joined MWWPR she has been a major contributor to agency culture, internal operations, client relationship management and strategic execution," said Michael W. A public relations leader, Clyne brought 18 years of integrated technology communications experience to MWWPR, both within agencies and in-house. She has led communications programs for numerous enterprise technology, consumer, security, storage, digital health and wellness, B2B and B2C clients, from global brands to start-up innovators.

A Bay Area native, Clyne is a graduate of Saint Mary's College of California, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication.
