Navy Drops Third Straight; Zach Abey Injured Again

Midshipmen head coach Ken Niumatalolo talked all week about his team getting back to playing "Navy football."

It turned out that some of the same problems hampered the Midshipmen during a 34-26 loss to Temple Nov. 2 in a rematch of last year's American Athletic Conference title game. The Midshipmen (5-3 overall, 3-3 AAC) have lost three straight and still need another win to become bowl eligible.

The Navy secondary allowed several big plays, and the running attack was uncharacteristically underwhelming, managing 136 yards, well short of its 376 yards per game average entering the contest.
