Cushman & Wakefield Arranges 18,073 SF Lease for Information Services Group Corporate HQ in Stamford, CT

10/19/17

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the real estate services firm has arranged a multi-year, 18,073-square-foot lease for Information Services Group (ISG) to establish its new global headquarters at 2187 Atlantic Street. ISG is a NASDAQ-listed global technology research and advisory firm.

Executive Managing Director Steve Baker of Cushman & Wakefield’s Stamford office represented the tenant in the transaction.

“This property is perfectly situated on a beautiful waterfront setting and is surrounded by an eclectic mix of restaurants, condos and offices in one of Stamford’s hottest neighborhoods,” Mr. Baker said. “With the prime location, features, and amenities, this is the best boutique office building on the market.”

ISG will be relocating from 281 Tresser Boulevard to 2187 Atlantic Street, situated at the edge of Stamford’s Harbor Point development. ISG said it was seeking “a new global headquarters location that reflects our evolution as a more digitally focused technology research and advisory firm, and provides opportunities for future expansion.”

“We wanted to be in a vibrant, up-and-coming area that welcomes the next generation of digital disruptors,” said ISG Chairman and CEO, Michael P. Connors.

The new ISG headquarters, Connors said, will feature a digital client engagement center, a global training facility and office space enabled by the latest digital technologies. “The design aesthetic of our new space will be very contemporary, with light colors, glass and plenty of natural sunlight – a look and feel befitting a firm like ours that is on the cutting edge of the digital revolution,” he said.

The Harbor Point location provides strong neighborhood amenities including dining options and outdoor activities such as access to the waterfront park and boardwalk, and is within walking distance from the Stamford Train Station.

The waterfront building features prebuilt suites and on-site management. It has recently undergone a multi-million dollar renovation including a new lobby, café, common area finishes, and renovated bathrooms. In addition to the dramatic interior renovations, an architecturally unique fin system along the building’s exterior enhances the landscaping design. Other building amenities include a shuttle to the nearby train station, a fitness center, covered parking, concierge, a renovated lobby, state-of-the-art training and client experience spaces, and a café.

Senior Director Jodie Dostal of Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord, an investment fund managed by Black Diamond Capital Management, a leading alternative asset management firm with offices in Greenwich, CT, Lake Forest, IL, London, UK and St. Thomas, USVI.
