This Fall, the 12th Annual Taste of the Island will once again tantalize the taste buds of patrons. With more than 20 local restaurants and bars in the greater Wilton Manors and surrounding areas participating, guests will have the opportunity to sample the best food and beverage options South Florida has to offer.

The 12th Annual Taste of the Island will take place on Monday, November 13, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the beautiful Richardson Historic Park and Nature Preserve (1937 Wilton Drive, Wilton Manors, Florida 33305). Everyone is invited to explore a wide range of culinary delicacies and specialty beverages not only enjoyed by local Wilton Manors residents, but attendees from surrounding Broward, Dade and Palm Beach counties as well.

“The City hosts more than 40 events and festivals per year, and Taste of the Island is always a crowd favorite,” said Mayor Gary Resnick. “Hosted in one of the City’s most majestic parks, Taste of the Island is a foodie lover’s dream come true.”

A staple event in the City of Wilton Manors, Taste of the Island is sure to be a memorable evening. This year’s event will feature local favorites such as Chima Steakhouse, Kelly’s Landing, Funky Buddha Brewery, Trader Joe's, Chef Ray, LLC, Croissan’Time, Garlic Knot, Spatch Peri-Peri Grilled Chicken and many more!

The 12th Annual Taste of the Island is made possible by the tremendous support of the Wilton Manors Community Affairs Advisory Board, Waste Management, Sterling Accounting, and the City of Wilton Manors, among others.

“In addition to just being one of the most fun events of the year, Taste of the Island raises funds to help support area non-profits and city programming throughout the year,” said Resnick. All proceeds from Taste of the Island will benefit the Wilton Manors Historical Society, the Kiwanis Club of Wilton Manors, the City of Wilton Manors’ Leisure Services Department and the Wilton Manors Development Alliance.
