Diane P. Perez Installed as President of the Coral Gables Bar Association

Diane P. Perez was sworn in as the new 2017-2018 President of the Coral Gables Bar Association during its annual Installation Gala at the historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables on Saturday, Sept. 23.

Michael J. Higer, the Florida Bar President and a partner at Berger Singerman in Miami, delivered the keynote address. The Honorable Robert J. Luck of the Third District Court of Appeal administered the oath of office to Perez and the Association’s new board of directors.

“I am honored to serve as the President of this distinguished organization and look forward to an exciting year of serving our community,” said Perez.

New officers were also installed at the President’s Ball including executive committee members: Gabriel Garay as President-Elect; Lana Naghshineh as Treasurer; Hugo Alvarez as Secretary; and, Jorge L. Fors, Jr. as Immediate Past President.

Perez is a Florida Board Certified Labor and Employment Law attorney and the owner of Diane Perez, P.A. She practices exclusively in the area of labor and employment law, representing both employers and employees in federal and state courts and before federal, state and local agencies. Perez focuses her practice on a wide-variety of labor and employment matters, including matters arising under Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, and the FLSA, among others. She is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law.
