Grant Thornton Grows Forensic Technology Services Practice

Data and technology specialist Steve McNew has joined Grant Thornton LLP as a Forensic Technology Services managing director within the firm’s Advisory Services practice.

Based in the firm’s Houston office, McNew strengthens the firm’s service offerings in forensic accounting, internal investigations, litigation support, and corporate governance. With businesses in all industries navigating through an uncertain future, McNew’s strong leadership and vision will be an asset to both Grant Thornton colleagues and clients.

McNew comes to Grant Thornton with nearly 30 years of experience counseling clients through complex disputes, investigations, and litigation. McNew has extensive experience in discovery-related matters, which include information governance, discovery consulting, eDiscovery, and predictive coding. Prior to joining Grant Thornton, McNew was a managing director and Global Strategic Market Development leader at Navigant Consulting Inc.

McNew is a Qualified Private Investigator in Texas, and he is credited with authoring a patent on enterprise search and data collection software.
