NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Prosek Partners, a leading independent financial communications and public relations firm, announces the promotion of Brian Schaffer to Managing Director.
In addition to leading the firm’s Investor Relations Practice, Schaffer is also responsible for managing the agency’s growing Transaction, Crisis and Issues Management Practice, which provides strategic communications support to clients involved in both hostile and friendly transactions; shareholder activism, initial public offerings and complex business restructurings. Brian and his team also advise clients on significant corporate issues and crisis management.

Brian joined Prosek Partners in March 2007. Prior to Prosek, Brian was Director of Investor Relations at ntl, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTLI). He was also Vice President of Investor Relations at Brainerd Communicators. Brian started his career at Morgen-Walke Associates after graduating with Honors from the University of Delaware.
