A Charlotte-based real estate company raised $1,715,000 in a private stock offering according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing on Wednesday.

The company, LCRE Partners, filed the Form D on Sept. 13 and it did not disclose what it intended to do with the funds.

LCRE Partners is a boutique commercial real estate firm specializing in mixed use space in the Piedmont area of the Carolinas. Its services include landlord representation, tenant representation, general brokerage, property management and consulting.

The filing was signed by Jon Dixon, a principal at LCRE Partners.

Dixon is a licensed broker in North Carolina and specializes in sourcing, funding and managing commercial real estate assets with a particular focus in the Carolinas, ranging from $1 million to $10 million in size.

Dixon has been involved on the principal side of over $30 million of commercial real estate in the past three years. Ongoing projects and past investments include, adaptive reuse, single-family development, multifamily apartments, and management of over 100,000 square feet of commercial real estate.

Companies relying on a Reg D exemption do not have to register their offering of securities with the SEC, but they must file what’s known as a Form D electronically with the SEC after they first sell their securities.

The form can be found here.
