The NFL is back, as the Kansas City Chiefs took care of the "expected" perfect season for the New England Patriots with a 42-27 win Sept. 7.
Patriots running back Mike Gillislee had three short touchdown runs and wide receiver Brandin Cooks had a nice debut, but the story of this game was Chiefs rookie running back Kareem Hunt, who, after fumbling on his first NFL play, went on to score three touchdowns and accumulate 246 total yards. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill also had a great game for the Chiefs, with 133 receiving yards and a touchdown, as did quarterback Alex Smith, who threw for 368 yards and four touchdowns. That's why they play the games.
What a way to kick off the season.
