Carl Benincasa Named Regional VP of Sales for Douglas Elliman’s Hamptons Region

An attorney and land-use expert with an impressive reputation and considerable real estate experience, Benincasa will oversee operations of the firm’s nine offices throughout the Hamptons

Continuing a year of explosive growth, leading national residential brokerage, Douglas Elliman Real Estate, today announced that it has named Carl Benincasa as regional vice president of sales, Hamptons. Benincasa, who has most recently served as an attorney for Southampton Town since 2012, boasts considerable experience in real estate law. In his role with Southampton Town, he has been responsible for the practical management of the real estate industryand its environs, particularly in the areas of planning and development. Additionally, as a named partner with Scarola, Benincasa and Mouzakitas, he has led his firm in the areas of acquisition and sales, zoning, financing, contract law and insurance issues relating to real estate.

Benincasa, who began his legal career as an assistant district attorney in New York City, earned a degree in political science from The George Washington University and his law degree from St. John’s University, where he was both a senior bar member of the Moot Court Honor Society and a senior staff member of the New York International Law Review. Additionally, he holds a master’s degree in public administration from the prestigious School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. As regional vice president of sales, the East End native will bring his extensive array of talents to lead the South Fork team in developing competitive strategies for the firm’s luxury residential and commercial markets, building upon its revenue growth and market share, and increasing Elliman’s considerable presence in the Hamptons.
