Maria Schneider

Dynofit, creator and developer of the Flexdot™ system for physical therapy, is among 12 companies selected for Season 3 of Gimlet Media’s The Pitch podcast series. Dynofit is a client of the TechFW business incubator.

CEO Maria Schneider will travel this fall to New York to join other CEOs in a 2-day session. The Pitch, chosen as one of the 12 best podcasts for entrepreneurs by Forbes’ Brian Solomon, is a show where real entrepreneurs pitch to real investors for real money. Josh Muccio hosts as each episode takes the audience behind closed doors to the critical moment when aspiring entrepreneurs put it all on the line.

“Our Flexdot™ system is part of the connected health movement, revolutionizing healthcare in America,” Schneider said. “We measure and deliver muscle activation data to smart phones anytime, anywhere. This will change the way physical therapy is delivered.

“The Pitch allows us an exciting opportunity to reach a broader audience worldwide with our message of patient connection and empowerment.”

The Flexdot™ system is based on Dynofit’s wireless, wearable sensor combined with apps and games for use on smart phones and tablets. Using the Flexdot™, patients and healthcare providers can measure the activation of targeted muscles during physical therapy, can track muscle strength and set measurable goals, and effectively use biofeedback to improve recovery at home or in the clinic.

Flexdots™ are available through healthcare providers as well as physical and occupational therapists. Watch for Season 3 episodes of The Pitch to be released this fall on iTunes or at https://gimletmedia.com/thepitch/
