Visit Baltimore is pleased to announce the promotions of Kim Allison to Director of citywide sales and Kat Taylor to senior national sales manager.

Allison joined the Visit Baltimore convention sales team as regional director of sales in 2007.By exceeding sale goals, establishing and maintaining customer relationships, and helping to lead the sales team by example, Allison secured her first promotion in2012. As associate sales director for Visit Baltimore, Allison managed sales strategies to help drive additional business to Baltimore.

Allison brings more than 15 years of experience selling Baltimore to her new role as director of citywide sales.She will lead the citywide sales team in effectively achieving Visit Baltimore’s sales goals to maximize the return on investment in the convention sales market. Allison will work closely with other members of Visit Baltimore’s sales leadership, as well as members of Baltimore’s hospitality community.

Since Taylor joined Visit Baltimore in 2014 from the Hyatt Regency Baltimore, she has increased national sales and elevated relationships within key markets. She is regarded by her clients, peers and hospitality community as both a team player and strong leader.

In her new position as senior national sales manager for the midwest region and diversity market, Taylor focuses on securing the bookings of meetings and convention business for Baltimore city. Taylor is responsible for meeting annual sales room night goals, managing all aspects of the sales process for new meetings and Convention Center-related business, and building and maintaining relationships with existing and future accounts.
