Five Undrafted Rookies Who Could Make Ravens' Roster

By, PressBox

The Ravens have a long history of uncovering undrafted rookie talent, and it's not by accident.

The Ravens' scouts, coaches and front office personnel spend untold hours identifying such players, building a database of talent that extends well beyond those drafted. Then after the draft, they are ready to pounce and make an attractive offer to a player looking for the right fit, and they have often already cultivated a relationship with that player.

It has happened time and again. There was defensive tackle Michael Pierce, who made the team last year after going undrafted out of Samford. There was Zach Orr in 2014, Justin Tucker in 2012 and Jameel McClain, Bart Scott and more before that.
