The path to an AFC Championship and Super Bowl appearance will head through Foxborough, Mass., according to former NFL quarterback and CBS and Bleacher Report analyst Chris Simms.
While Simms believes the New England Patriots will once again grace the postseason, he thinks the Ravens will be there, too, thanks to the improvements the team has made to its offensive and defensive skill positions.
In a July 21 column for Bleacher Report, Simms wrote that the Ravens are among the top eight teams with the best chance to win the Lombardi Trophy. And while mounting injuries are a concern (10 players missed practice Aug. 8), the Ravens addressed Simms' largest worry by adding speed to the secondary.
