BDO USA, LLP, one of the nation's leading accounting and consulting organizations, today announced that Heidi Franklin has been admitted to the firm’s partnership. In this role, Ms. Franklin will be responsible for all phases of financial audits, analyses of internal controls and policies, development of audit plans and programs, supervision of personnel, technical research and review of financial statements. Previously, Ms. Franklin was an Assurance and Audit Quality Director in the firm’s Greater Washington D.C. office.

Ms. Franklin has more than 15 years of experience in public accounting, which includes audits of public and private companies in the distribution, retail, broker-dealer, technology and real estate industries. Ms. Franklin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. She earned a B.S. with honors in accounting from the University of Pretoria and a postgraduate diploma in accounting from the University of Witwatersrand.
