Avison Young’s John Kevill, Managing Director of U.S. Capital Markets, announced today that Georgiana Condoiu has joined the Washington office as a Vice President in the Capital Markets group.

Condoiu will work to expand and integrate Avison Young’s capital markets platform across the U.S., building on the firm’s expertise in client relationships and business development.

“Georgiana is a highly-regarded expert with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the real estate capital markets,” Kevill said. “She bolsters our already strong team and will focus on exporting best practices around the platform and working with key clients nationally.”

Condoiu brings more than a decade of experience in commercial real estate.

Before joining Avison Young, Condoiu was a Senior Analyst with CBRE’s National Loan & Portfolio Sale Advisors. There she was responsible for the evaluation of prospective loan sales, transaction management, development and implementation of sales strategies and marketing of loan and portfolio sale offerings.

During her eight-year tenure at CBRE, Condoiu participated in the sale and marketing of more than $15 billion in commercial mortgage loans and properties.

Prior to her role at CBRE, Condoiu worked with ING Investment Management (now Clarion Partners), where she assisted with acquisitions and asset management initiatives in the Washington metro area. Before joining ING, Condoiu was a Development Associate with Federal Development, where she focused on large-scale real estate Public Private Partnerships.

Condoiu received an MBA in Finance & Strategy from the University of Maryland at College Park and a Bachelor of Science in Finance & Insurance from Babe?-Bolyai University in Romania.
