Shawn Pyatt
MYCON General Contractors today announced the appointment of Shawn Pyatt as the company’s new chief financial officer, according to Charles R. Myers, MYCON’s CEO.
“We are fortunate to attract a professional of Shawn’s caliber with a proven track record of accomplishment and welcome him to our senior leadership team,” says Myers.
Pyatt comes to MYCON with more than 25 years of financial and executive leadership experience in the construction industry. As MYCON’s CFO, Pyatt will be responsible for the financial management and accounting functions for the firm, as well as directing the activities of the human resources department and information technology department. Additionally, Pyatt will manage the firm’s surety and insurance programs and will provide guidance and direction for the company’s risk management program.
Pyatt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from McNeese State University. He is an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association (“CFMA”) and formerly served on its board of directors. He holds a professional certification as a CCIFP (Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional).
