It’s been a few days since Orioles second baseman Jonathan Schoop returned from the All-Star Game, and he’s still smiling about the experience.
Schoop, who played three innings in the July 11 game at Miami’s Marlins Park, doubled and scored the American League’s first run.
“It was fun. It was a good experience. You meet some guys that you play against,” Schoop said. “Being in the same clubhouse with them and talk with them and see how good guys they are.”
Unlike some All-Stars, Schoop stayed in the dugout after he was removed from the game to cheer his team on.
