Alberto Gonzalez brings over 20 years of extensive sales and brand development experience to his new role as the Vice President of Marketing & Sales – North America at Van Berkel International (VBI). He has led the international sales and marketing effort of established companies, including Whirlpool Corporation and Jarden Consumer Solutions, with a proven track record of growth and development. Gonzalez’s ability to identify trends and successfully market products has set him apart from his competitors and ensures he will be a valued member of the VBI team.

While in his most recent role as Director of International Sales for Jarden Consumer Solutions, Gonzalez worked with highly recognizable brands such as Oster, Bionaire, FoodSaver and Skybar, maximizing their brand recognition and growing their international sales. He is well versed in the nuances of international business and has a firm grasp on how to optimize relationships and maximize sales.

Gonzalez’s responsibilities at VBI include managing Profit and Loss, Management, Business and Key Account Development, Marketing Plans, Operations and Customer Support. His primary base will be the VBI’s US headquarters in Miami, but he will also oversee the entire continent. Gonzalez earned an MIM from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona, USA.
