SL Green Realty Corp (NYSE: SLG), New York City’s largest commercial landlord, today announced it has signed a 17,984-square-foot, 10-year lease with First American Title Company, one of the world’s top providers of real estate title insurance, at 110 E. 42nd Street.

The new lease covers the entire 10th floor of the 205,000-square-foot, 18-story building located directly across from Grand Central Terminal.

“We are delighted to welcome First American to our building,” said Steven Durels, executive vice president, director of leasing and real property for SL Green who added that “leasing activity in the Grand Central submarket remains extremely active”.

110 E. 42nd Street’s is a New York City landmark and home to Cipriani 42nd Street. The building was BOMA’s Operating Office Building of the Year in 2013.

Robin Fisher and Christie Bennett from Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented First American in the transaction, while Howard Tenenbaum and Gary Rosen acted for SL Green in-house.
