National construction law firm Peckar & Abramson, P.C.(P&A) is pleased to announce the addition of four Associates in its New York and New Jersey offices. Attorneys Navid Ansari and Melissa Salsano have joined the firm in New York, and Dorthy A. Koncur and Ian L. Schlanger have joined P&A in New Jersey.
Navid Ansari is a construction attorney whose expertise includes major multi-party construction defect litigation matters. He was formerly an Associate with Byrne & O’Neill LLP. Ansari is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and the US District Courts for the Southern District and Eastern District of New York. He holds a JD from Western New England University School of Law.
Construction attorney Melissa Salsano focuses her practice on construction litigation, complex commercial litigation and securities litigation. In addition to her JD, Salsano received the designation from the National Counsel of Examiners for Engineers and Surveying as an Engineer in Training (EIT). Prior to joining P&A, Salsano was an Associate with Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti, LLP. She is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. She holds a JD from Rutgers School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, magna cum laude, from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Attorney Dorthy A. Koncur has had a strong legislative career in addition to her expertise with various construction, transportation, employment, labor, public governance and compliance matters. She was previously an Associate with Florio Perrucci Steinhardt & Fader, LLC in New Jersey. Koncur is a member of the American Bar Association and the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association. A published author, Koncur is admitted to practice law in New Jerseyand the US District Court, District of New Jersey. She holds a JD from Seton Hall University School of Law.
Experienced real estate attorney Ian L. Schlanger is a Senior Associate in the firm's Real Estate Practice group. He focuses his practice on all aspects of commercial real estate investment and development including zoning, obtaining variances and special permits from municipalities as well as negotiating and drafting commercial leases and contracts. Prior to joining P&A, he was an attorney with the Weber Law Group. Schlanger is admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and the U.S. Supreme Court. He holds a JD, cum laude, from Albany Law School of Union University.
