Transwestern today announces the American Association for Justice signed a 50,803-square-foot lease renewal at 777 Sixth St. NW in Washington, D.C. Transwestern Executive Vice President Joe Michel and Vice President Scott Fetterolf represented the building owner in the transaction.

“The American Association for Justice chose to renew its lease at 777 Sixth St. because it’s in a vibrant location with great amenities,” said Michel. “In the heart of Penn Quarter, it’s well served by Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro Station and provides a variety of retail and entertainment options, including Gallery Place and Verizon Center.”

777 Sixth Street NW is an 11-story, 180,000-square-foot office building with efficient floor plates of approximately 18,000 square feet. The building is currently 100 percent leased; however, the top three floors, totaling 54,000 square feet, will be available beginning February 1, 2018. Building amenities include an expansive rooftop terrace, fitness center with towel service, and an electronically secured bike room equipped with a repair station.

The American Association for Justice, which was represented by Sherry Cushman of Cushman & Wakefield and John Boland of NGKF in the transaction, has occupied the building since 2008.
